Recently, after the election campaigns, PM Narendra Modi performed a 45-hour meditation at Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari. The Prime Minister did meditation at Dhyana Mandapam, which is located at Vivekananda Rock Memorial, at the sea.
SPG-Led Security For PM
According to the sources, the security management for PM’s such visits is the responsibility of the Special Protection Group (SPG). The local police and the armed police are operated to work according to the SPG guidelines.
Also, the work of the forces is to create a zone at sea known as a sanitized zone. In this zone, the sea is free of any fisherman, adventure sports, swimmers or boats.
Modern Equipments For PM
According to the sources,for the safety of PM Narendra Modi, a standard deployment is done at the sea. It includes deployment of updated gadgets, ships and men loaded with arms. Besides all this, a battery of coastal radars and sensors is deployed for protection from sea and UAVs for protection from air medium.
PM Narendra Modi’s Ends Spiritual Sojourn
Tapasvi Modi ended his 45-hour long meditation at Kanyakumari on 2 June. He meditated day and night at Dhyana Mandapam. This was the same place where Swami Vivekananda meditated in 1892.
After arriving from Thiruvananthapuram via helicopter on May 30, PM offered prayers at the Bhagavathy Amman temple. He then reached the Rock Memorial and started his meditation.
On his second day, he started meditation by offering water to the sun during sunrise and then went to meditate again.
On the final day, he performed the same rituals. He also wrote a special message at Dhyana Mandapam. After concluding his 45-hour long meditation, he paid tribute to Tamil poet ‘Thiruvalluvar’ which is adjacent to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.
